    You obviously don’t know anything about ultralight aircraft if you think they are the most manoeuvrable. In every other country in the world the right of way goes from ballon’s, to gliders, to airships (dirigibles), to powered aircraft.

      What's your point here? Ultra light aircraft still are last in the list in the "rest of the world" example you just gave... So it will match the video's

    Here’s a tip for anyone using the acronym… Add an extra F in with the acronym to make ICEFFLAGS. The additional F is featureless terrain/black hole. It’s still missing runway width illusions but the double F in the acronym helps me to remember everything better. Thanks for the video Jason!

    How can you tell if it's a suction or pressure system?

    • @adrenalinefoodiem9034
      @adrenalinefoodiem9034 Год назад

      Its just facts, basically how the instruments were designed ... the altimeter, airspeed, and vertical speed indicator are pressure systems because they use Pitot( total pressure ) and static pressure ( actual outside pressure ) to work out the correct speed and altitude and rate of climb/descent unlike those instruments disuccussed here they are gyroscopic instruments so they solely rely on the right operation of the gyros inside each instrument that's why they need that vacuum pressure for them to work and they don't need any pressure inputs . Hope that makes sense

    2:38 it's very dangerous to teach that the primary control used to recover from a stall or spin is the rudder. The primary control in both is the elevator.

    Meteorologists are liars. Specifically, they are dishonest about revealing to the public that they really do not understand the physics of thunderstorms. This dishonesty is a major factor in the mis-training of pilots that underlies many accidents like this one. All meterologists lie by default, pretending they understand what they actually do not understand. Read this for more details on one of the biggest frauds in science: The 'Missing Link' of Meteorology's Theory of Storms @t James McGinn / Solving Tornadoes

    I think your the man. Now a little advice needed on the now grounded Boeing 737 Max 8. I'm saying that with allowing MCAS pitch up correction into the Variable Incidence Horizontal Stabilizer mechanism. That this tailplane can now create some serious pitch down, which it seems can then overide the elevators (depending maybe on how the aircraft has been CofG loaded). Normal aircraft trimming using the VIT is also in operation of course. The 'fix' reported is to add an extra AOA vane to maybe spot and stop any runaway jackscrew action on this adjustable stabilizer. But I still feel that the main problem still lurks and being overlooked, That is the Elevators must 'always' work as Elevators, even with a broken jackscrew jammed in any position! This is how I see it at the moment anyway.. Scary Stuff! Thanks

    Eustachean tube connects the middle ear with the pharynx , it’s main function is to equalise the middle ear pressure with the atmospheric pressure , in case of its dysfunction this lead to negative ear pressure as a consequence you might get vertigo called pressure vertigo

    Why is there high tail down force though?

    • @travisnelson3109
      @travisnelson3109 4 года назад

      A forward CG has more leverage and thus nose-down force than an aft CG because of its distance from the center of pressure. Therefore, you’ll need a greater tail down force to counteract that increased nose-down force. Hopefully I understood your question correctly!

  • @larryehrlich8702
    @larryehrlich8702 4 года назад

    You make an aft cg sound like you are on the ragged edge of loss of control..which you are not. An aft cg is completely safe and was flight checked safe by the FAA thru the certification testing requirements. Two benefits of an aft cg are: 1. A higher cruise speed and 2. A slower stall speed! Another way to say this is you can fly further (on a tank of gas) with an aft cg then you can with a forward cg. When I got my private pilots license...you had to demonstrate stall/spin recoveries in the aircraft.

      Or runway width illusion or atmosphere illusion or ground lighting illusion or featureless terrain illusion. AIM 8-1-5 but ICEFLAGS are for spatial disorientation. Runway illusion is a visual illusion.
